A file with DOTM extension represents template file created with Microsoft Word 2007 or higher. It is similar to the popular DOCX file format other than it retains the user defined settings for reuse in case of creating new documents. How to create a digital signature?

Once you will upload the document from this page, you will be redirected to the document editor where you will need to pick the signature type that could be text, image, stamp, barcode, QR code or digital certificate. When the signature type is selected you can click [Add] button to create a new digital signature of the proper type. Text signature requires only text and adjusting its style. Image signature requires the image to be uploaded. Barcode or QR code signature requires text. The digital certificate will need a special pfx certificate file to create the documen signature.
How to sign a DOTM document?

The document could be signed with many electronic signatures of the different types. The signatures could be added to the document page and then could be saved. Some documents support only simple electronic elements like text and images. Many documents formats support digital certificates that allow protecting content from unexpected changes.
