A case-sensitive search is a type of full-text search that is performed with the case-accuracy of individual letters in the search query. That is, for example, if a word in a search query is written with a capital letter at the beginning, then only words starting with a capital letter will be included in the search results. The same word written in lowercase or fully uppercase will not be included in the search results.
This Case-sensitive search app is built on top of the GroupDocs.Search full-text search engine, which provides a wide range of search query options. Case-sensitive searches can be performed on any word in the query, on all words, or on a phrase.
Keep in mind that case-sensitive search is only compatible with search options that do not change the letters in the word, since the case of the changed letters is unknown to the system.
An example of a case-sensitive search is "sMs" with the case sensitive option enabled. For this query, only the words "sMs" will be found and will not be found, for example, the following: "Sms", "sms", "SmS", "SMS".
You can perform case-sensitive search in many file formats. Please see the full list below.
